Some new images have turned up, first Cora Gordon at a talk about Art for school girls circa 1942
Next, Jan Gordon at his desk in Clanricarde Gardens, by Cora Gordon circa 193- This is a clip from a bigger work.

Then a nice pen and ink portrait of Jan by Cora, circa 1927, from a book of theirs that was given as a gift to the US film producer, Jim Cruze and his wife Betty Compson.
and a nice sketch of early cinema dedicted to Cruze and Compson
Now safely in my hands thanks to the internet.
Then a sad little pen sketch of Cora Gordon very near the end of her life, circa 1948-50 which is showing the ravages of cancer, thanks to the energetic lifetime tobacco habit no doubt.
The sketch is by Benison Spurrier, son of the famous artist Steven Spurrier, I would dearly like to know more about Benison; sadly the Spurrier collection of art has recently been found destroyed by rats. I believe it was likely that works by Jan and /or Cora were amongst those lost.

a really great oil painting by Cora

A rather nice little flyleaf
dedication
